not-all-who-wander-arelost:

watching Wilfred. and wondering…

when Wilfred uses the word “fellowship” with Ryan in coversation, how can Elijah Wood not be thinking what I’m thinking?

When people hate Frodo for getting all the credit when if it wasn’t for Sam he wouldn’t even have made it to Mordor?

Do you think Sam could have done it by himself? If the roles were reversed, would you hate Sam for getting all the credit? What about if it was Aragorn who took it? Do you think Aragorn would have completed the task by himself? So, of course Frodo couldn’t have made it without Sam. Okay. He couldn’t have made it without Aragorn, either, or the rest of the Fellowship, or Arwen, or Farmir. No one could have done it alone.

And we can’t even take the task of the Ringbearer lightly because, let me remind you, it broke Frodo throughout the whole journey. It’s not the easiest task in the world, okay. It’s no easy fear to continuously fight, with every step you take, to resist the power of the Ring — to keep fighting so it won’t take over him or consume him. Do you know, he was never the same again? He had to sail to the Undying Lands, because he would never fully heal if he stayed in Middle-Earth. He sacrificed so much, giving up basically everything he had, for the survival of Middle-Earth.

To be honest, I don’t see Frodo being praised more than Sam. In fact, I think people hate Frodo more for being whiny and weak, which also an extremely ridiculous reason to hate him. Just, I don’t know. I think people just talk about him more because he is the main character and the one guy who carried the Ring.

I’m sorry, he gets way too much hate and it really isn’t fair

Show me who hates Frodo. NOW. SOMEBODY’S GONNA DIE TONIGHT.

Two new episodes of Wilfred next week.
